It is a sleek aluminum laptop that comes in smoky gray and pink finishes. Thanks to all the metal used, it’s very solidly built with minimal flex. There’s some wobble in the display hinge, but that’s perhaps unsurprising for a hinge responsible for making the display flip 360 degrees.
This flexible hinge is a hallmark of the Yoga line, and it allows the Yoga to remain in a typical laptop position, or it can be laid flat on a table, flipped into “tent” mode, or flipped all the way to tablet mode. For a laptop with an 11-inch screen, tent mode has some utility, providing a good view of the screen while still allowing it to be placed where it doesn’t take up too much surface area-think of a table on an airplane or a kitchen countertop, where space is at a premium.
